Michelle Paratore: Consultant at Bain & Company
Michelle Paratore is a Consultant at Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm. She received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in June 2012. Prior to business school, Michelle spent three years as an Associate Consultant at Bain, working with clients in the ecommerce, private equity and healthcare industries and leading the office’s Green Team. Michelle has worked closely with Teens Turning Green since 2009 when she completed a four month full-time project building a strategy for the organization’s collection of eco body care products. In addition to her MBA, Michelle holds a BA in Economics from Brown University, including one year of course work at the Universitá di Bologna in Bologna, Italy. She lives in Mill Valley with her husband.

Anna has played many roles over the course of her remarkable life: Chef. Actress. Fashionista. Kundalini yoga teacher. But through it all she has maintained a keen sense of self, a grounded perspective and a passion for healthy living, spiritual fulfillment and respect for the environment that she wants to share with others. Anna has been featured in InStyle, Vogue, ELLE, Food & Wine, Entertainment Weekly, People, Yoga Journal, and on TV. She’s written two books, Anna Getty’s Easy Green Organic and I’m Dreaming of a Green Christmas (both from Chronicle Books). Anna is a board member of Healthy Child Healthy World, The Organic Center and Global Green. She served as the Eco Editor for Healing Lifestyles & Spa Magazine, Pregnancy Magazine and was a two-year contributor to YogiTimes Magazine and Wholeliving.com. She is also an avid blogger. Anna is also a two-time winner of The 2010 Green Book Festival competition honoring books that contribute to greater understanding, respect for and positive action on the changing worldwide environment. She is also the founder of Pregnancy Awareness Month, going into it’s 6th year, a campaign, every May thst educates and empowers women as they move into pregnancy and motherhood. She lives with her screen-writer husband Gregory Pruss and two children between Los Angeles and their organic olive oil farm in Tuscany.
Erin Schrode: Co-Founder, Teens Turning Green / College Student, New York University
Erin Schrode is a young ecoRenaissance woman. As the “face of the new green generation,” the co-founder and spokeswoman of Turning Green promotes global sustainability, youth leadership, environmental education, and conscious lifestyle choices. After working in disaster response in Haiti, she founded and launched The Schoolbag, a youth education project to provide tools and materials for students in need, as well as initiate active citizenry and environmental stewardship. A “sustainability prodigy” and eco expert, Erin has been featured in the NY Times, Vanity Fair, SF Chronicle, NY Post, Seventeen Magazine, Teen Vogue, National Geographic, ABC, NBC, BBC, CNN, FOX, MTV, E!, AOL, GOOD, Slate, and other multimedia outlets. The “juggernaut in the non profit and green world” speaks frequently, serves on panels, hosts events and videos, and writes columns for The Huffington Post, elephant journal, ecofabulous, and Eco Age, as well as her own blog. An award-winning ecopreneur, Erin is US Ambassador to One Young World, spokeswoman for top organic brands, and, as The White House said, “a dynamic, passionate and ambitious young woman committed to creating big change everywhere she goes.” She is in her third year as a DEANS Scholar at New York University – studying abroad in South America, after terms in the Middle East, West Africa, and Europe. Having visited over fifty countries, Erin has developed a keen global perspective and hopes to inspire her peers to take action and make the world a more sustainable and just place for future generations.
Danielle Huffaker: Merchandising Manager at eBay Green
Danielle has a passion for all things international—travelling, learning languages, and enjoying the traditional arts and cuisine of different countries. She studied Cultural Anthropology as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, leading her to seek out pragmatic, impact-driven models for alleviating global poverty, and eventually joined the
WorldofGood.com team at eBay to help make a positive difference in our world through commerce. Danielle inherited a strong aversion to waste from her Iraqi grandmother, which has fueled her passion for sustainable living and creative reuse. Nothing thrills Danielle more than to find the perfect use to divert an object from the landfill and give it a new purpose.
Zem Joaquin: Founder of ecofabulous
Zem Joaquin, Green Design and Strategy Consultant, is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of ecofabulous.com, a website that dedicated to finding the best of the best when it comes to sustainable, sexy, stuff. Zem also applied her eco-chic talents to Condé Nast’s House &Garden magazine as the former Eco Editor and currently to Domino Magazine as Contributing Eco-Editor. She also hosts a segment on apopular morning radio show and co-hosts episodes on national television programs such as Kimmora Lee Simmons “Life in Fab Lane,” and the upcoming Adrian Granier “Alter Eco” program. Zem regularly featured in various print, online and television channels, and she is frequently introduced and quoted as an industry thought leader and green design authority. A certified green building professional, protogé of William McDonough and long-time fashionista, Zem consults on eco-design projects for individuals and corporations.
