and around their stores impacting the health of workers, customers and
people exposed to their fragrance in common space. Help us with this project and shoot some video in your community opposing the use of fragrance sprayed in your local A + F stores.

Against Lead Campaign: An interactive petition seeking a ban on lead in
lipstick. Signers are asked to sign and kiss the canvas with lead free
lipstick to show their support. Campaign is seeking to support a
Senator to reintroduce the bill that lost in 2008 by one vote in the

The cell phone industries’ own studies show that the cell signal is
absorbed deeply into the brains of children, and up to 2 inches into an
adult skull. We need to be sure that this technology is used in the
safest possible way.

2007: Toxic Toys Bill: Campaign
members lobbied and hosted a press conference that forced the Governor
to pass a bill he was set to veto banning phthalates from children’s
toys. The bill was passed in October 2007.
2005: Safe Cosmetics Act of 2005 : Campaign
members played a key role in the passage The California Safe Cosmetics
Act of 2005. Thanks to their 11th hour lobbying efforts in Sacramento,
California's Governor reversed his decision to veto the bill and signed
it into law.
