Join Teens Turning Green for a Hike-a-thon to raise funds to green our
schools and develop the Eco Janitorial Closet in order to ensure a
healthier school environment. Participants will gather for a light
breakfast and then hike for 5 miles on Ring Mountain. Educators will
speak at each mile marker about toxic chemicals found in everyday
products and the alternative greener options. Prizes will be awarded
based on amounts raised. Following the hike will be a Eco Lifestyle
Expo showcasing products and services that promote thoughtful living.

May 2008: Teens Turning Green Product Line presented to Whole Foods Market as the first exclusive premium line for teens in partnership with a collective of green companies and Teens for Safe Cosmetics. The line will be launched nationally fall, 2008. Campaign members tested and selected all of the products for Phase I of the line. With Whole Foods Market we will continue to expand the campaign and momentum in cities across the country.
